Lost-wax casting gives precise shapes and a fine surface on small parts, from 0.01 to 5 kg, with tolerances to PN-ISO 8062 CT5 to CT6.
A wax pattern is coated with ceramic shell. The wax is melted out, metal is poured into the shell and the shell is broken away. The result is a close-tolerance part that needs little or no machining.

Steel, iron and non-ferrous alloys.
Choose investment casting for thin walls, complex geometry and fine surfaces, or when a part would otherwise need several machining steps.
