Three moulding routes cover parts from 0.01 kg to heavy castings over 7 m long. Pick the process by weight, size and batch, or send the drawing and we will recommend one.
Weight, size and tolerance by process, with a link to the detail page.
| Process | Weight | Size | Tolerance | Typical batch |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Automatic green sand moulding | 0.10–47 kg (DISA) up to 250 kg (HWS) | part up to 600 × 450 × 350 mm (DISA) | PN-ISO 8062 CT9–CT11 | medium to large series |
| Hand moulding | heavy castings, up to 12,000 kg across the group | up to 7500 × 1900 × 2000 mm | on request | single pieces and small series |
| Investment casting | 0.01–5 kg | small precision parts | PN-ISO 8062 CT5–CT6 | small to medium series |
Three questions narrow it down. If you are unsure, send the drawing.
1
Parts under 250 kg in series usually suit automatic moulding. Heavier parts and single pieces go to hand moulding.
2
Small parts with a fine surface and tight tolerances suit investment casting, from 0.01 kg.
3
Automatic lines repay the pattern over volume. Hand moulding keeps tooling cost low on one-offs and short runs.
